Camillias

Camillias
flaming with passion
imperfect love blooms brilliantly

I moved into my apartment last year in April when the camillia tree in front of my window was in full bloom. This year, it is only the end of February, and the branches are already drooping heavily with blossoms. Like roses for western culture, camillias are symbols for passion and longing in Chinese culture. However, unlike roses, they are sturdier and longer lasting. I’m counting on these gorgeous flowers to bring me luck this spring, for work, love, friendship and health. And today, for better communication and forgiveness.
