If you were to visit Seattle, I’d take you to Fremont for a nice stroll in the Sunday market and have brunch in the neighborhood. It’s not touristy but a vibrant and pretty little neighborhood that claims to the center of the universe. Clarie and I often eat lunch together on the Fremont steps in the sun, watching the sail boats go by. I wanted to take some product pictures of Clarie’s designs at the Fremont steps. It didn’t work out very well due to difficulty with controlling shade and lighting. (No wonder people build outdoor scenes indoors.) However, I was extremely happy to find a big bush of calla lily naturally grown next to the steps. They were splendidly beautiful.
